About Aaron

FMF Corpsman. Builder. Compliance Conscience.

Aaron Eklund served as a U.S. Navy Fleet Marine Force (FMF) Hospital Corpsman with United States Marine Corps Infantry units. His Marines call him "Doc", and he earned the rare title of "Devil Doc" — a designation given by Marines themselves to the few Corpsmen who repeatedly prove themselves under fire. He was medically retired from combat-sustained injuries.

"I have no idea how y'all do it. Amazing fortitude. Just amazing."

— a sentiment commonly expressed by U.S. Navy SEALs about U.S. Marines, and by extension the FMF Corpsmen who serve alongside them. SEALs are among the toughest operators in the world. The admiration runs both ways, and it is never given lightly.

From the Field to the Operating Picture at HCMC

Aaron joined Honor Code Medical Consultants as Vice President of Operations before stepping into his current role as Director of Education, IT, Information Security & Compliance. The shift was deliberate: HCMC's growth depends on systems that are correct from day one — training, infrastructure, security, and compliance architecture that doesn't have to be rebuilt the moment regulators look closely.

What He Builds

Aaron designed and built HCMC's web-based clinical training platform end-to-end — the curriculum, evidence base, evaluation logic, and the regulatory guardrails that govern how the platform delivers content to representatives and clinicians. He currently leads the build of HCMC's marketing website, rep portal, brochure web application, and back-end marketing infrastructure — embedding FDA marketing rules, AdvaMed Code of Ethics, HIPAA privacy standards, and Anti-Kickback Statute compliance into every system at the architecture level rather than bolting them on afterward.

What He Carries

Aaron also carries a sales territory serving VA, DOD, and civilian clinicians. He treats every clinician introduction the way he was trained to treat a casualty — with discipline, with the right protocol, and with the understanding that the patient is the only thing that ultimately matters.

Why It Matters

Building a compliance-first medical distributor in 2026 is harder than building a fast one. Aaron's job at HCMC is to make sure the company's growth never outruns its integrity — and that a clinician who chooses HCMC chooses an organization that does the right thing whether or not anyone is watching.
